April 2008

Freeze –Candy reports Freeze is now an International Champion. Congrats to Candy & Freeze.

Lilly—at 6 months picks up her 1st point and a BOV.

Sassy—Co-owned and Co-bred by Judy Brickey (J-Bee’s) & Stephanie McAlister (Quasar) picks up back-to-back Group 1 & Group 2. Congratulations to them!

Sofie—BOS/BOV both days at Carolina Specialties

Bebe– Pick up points at PBC with BOW

March 2008

Kelvin— picked up 4pt major Sunday under Judge Judy A Doniere, (Reserve Winner to the Major Sat) under Judge Patricia V Trotter. YEA! Needs a major to finish. :)

Bebe– Another WB/BOV

Bliz—New Champion!

Vella (Whiff’s 1st daughter) At her 1st show goes Puppy Queen/Reserve Best in Show at KCSC/KKF Retriever & Cocker Spaniel Specialty Show in Korea. Vella is owned and bred by Seung Hyun Lee. Vella plans for a US debut later in 2008

Sassy (Diamond’s 1st daughter) goes BOV, BOS to BOB at San Diego Cocker Spaniel Specialty. Sassy is owned and co Bred By Steph McAlister and Judy Brickey

We congratulate their owners/breeders! We are looking forward to seeing more of Patty’s grandkids out later in 2008

Sophie  - (brown from Toffee’s 1st litter) has back to back BOV’s her 1st weekend out in 2008.

Bebe  - (black from Toffee’s 2nd litter/Cassia’s & Tootsie’s littermate) goes WB/BOV and then WB her first weekend out in 2008.

Poppy - (brown from Toffee’s 2nd litter) also in the points her 1st weekend of 2008.

Whiff  - is the cover dog for the 2008 KCSC/KKF Retriever & Cocker Spaniel Specialty Show Catalog in Korea

Kelvin  - continues to pick up points. New pics soon!

Bliz -is back out and picking up points her 1st weekend back out including BOV’s over a special.

February 2008

Freeze– New Champion!

Kelvin—made his 2008 ring debut the last week of the month and picked up a BOV and a few more points.

January 2008

Freeze pick’s up his 2nd major (3 pts) in one circuit. Needs a single to finish.

Tootsie—New Champion!

Flurry—4pt Major/NEW Champion at 11 months. Our 20th.

Freeze—1st show since ASC a 4pt Major followed by a 4pt Reserve.

Just in—Sassy goes AOM at ASC! Huge congrats to Judy and Stephanie from myself and Sassy’s Grand Ma Patty :)

ASC Regular Class Results just in: Littermates Flurry 1st , Icee 3rd and Freeze 4th. These placements give their Dam Patty her 7th winning or placing puppy in addition to 2 AOM’s in ASC regular classes.

ASC Futurity Results just in: Littermates Bliz 1st, Freeze 2nd and Flurry 3rd. These coveted ribbons give their Dam Patty her 7th Futurity placing puppy.

Congratulations to all the winners and placers at this years Futurity!

December 2007  - Bliz picks up a 5pt major in Cleveland her 1st weekend out with Mike Pitts.

Flurry– We decided to show her just the 1st day of the 3 day Specialty in IN with Mike, she took the 4 point major (13 points)  and will now sit to finish in 2008 so she can show from the classes at ASC in January.

Sassy stepped up to the plate the next 2 days of the IN Specialties and took the majors the following 2 days to FINISH and went BBE also on Sat.  Huge CONGRATS to Steph and Judy!

Alley & Hogan both pass CERF

Toostie (Cassia’s black litter sister) gets both her majors in Savannah 1st weekend in December while sister  Bebe goes Reserve.

November 2007 - Brought home 2 of Victory’s girls from Texas. Thanks Stan.  Anxious to watch them grow.

Freeze picked up his last BBE points and is now with Pitts.

Flurry is singled out and holding for 2008.

Cassia is now a champion! Out 3 back to back weekends, except for one Reserve Major she finished in consecutive shows. Litter sister Tootsie out next weekend.

Flurry—Picks up more points. Siblings are home getting ready for 2008.

October 2007 - Cassia picks up her 2nd major and more singles her 2nd weekend out

Whiff—See his 1st litter in Korea :)

Flurry   has her first points! She’s now up to 5.

Freeze Picked up a couple more from BBE in Mid Oct.

Cassia On her 1st weekend out with Linda has 4 Winners including a major.

Whiff - Received the 1st pictures of his 1st daughter—what a cutie!

Icee  - Reserves at her first shows.

Sophie came out of her 14 month retirement to go BOS to BOB to Dylan under Nancy Self at the S A Cocker Specialty shown by owner and co-breeder, Cheryl Brown

It seems I’m just not as young as I used to be...just can’t handle the back to back weekends of showing anymore. Will lay low here a few weeks to rest before heading back out later this month :)

September 2007 - The South Atlantic Cocker Spaniel Club  graciously invited me to Judge their Sweepstakes Entries on September 28^th in Deland, Fla. Nancy Self Judged Regular Classes. I had a wonderful time Judging all the pretty cocker puppy exhibits at the Specialty. Show Chairman/Show Secretary: Kristina Broome

Victory—Has her puppies! All Tri’ girls.... :) Stan is working his back side off with them. Thanks Stan!

Houston is now owned by Kris Munoz, Sugar Plum Cockers in California.

Freeze picked up a few points and 2 BOV’s from BBE at 7 months this first weekend out in September. He picked up another point next time out in mid-September.

Kelvin picked up his first point in mid-September owner/breeder handled from 6-9.

Jeffrey has gone to bigger and better things. He was adopted by the Bryant’s as their new bed buddy. Tamara hopes to refresh his agility training and get him out in competition soon! He seems to be fitting right in with his new family and we feel blessed that a 6 1/2 year old stud dog can still be a family companion. He will still be at private stud—Contact us.

Flurry is adapting to “camp’ routine” at Pitts and will debut with them in early October.

Icee has been at Camp Leslie. Terri has sent several adorable pictures of her. She’ll debut with Leslie at the end of the month.

Victory –Stan reports she is just huge. Her puppies by Biggles are due late September

August – Whew! Way too hot here in the SE for shows! I think we’ll sit this month out and get the pups back out at Shows in September.

Patty, Peter, Ace, Slider, Houston, Slider, Victory & Dimple all received CERF’s for  2007. More later this year as they are due.

July—Wow! What an exciting month.

Cassia (Brown) - 1st All-breed show -BOS 7/28 for first points from 9-12. Co-Breeder/Co-Owner Handled, Co-Owned with Gregg Shultz. She’ll be out with Pitts in October.

Tootsie (Cassia's Black sister) - 7/28 BOV over Top Ranked Special from 9-12. Handed by Owner/Co-Breeder Cheryl Brown

Victory (Parti) - 7/24 Bred to “Biggles” CH. Afterglow Parti Colour (UK import) for her 1st litter. She is co-owned by Stan & Lola Stroud

Sassy—7/22 American Spaniel Club National –Best Bred by Exhibitor in Show! Sassy is our Patty’s 1st Grand baby and we are very proud of her! Co-Owned/Co-Bred by: Stephanie McAlister & Judy Brickey. Handled by Stephanie.

Sassy—7/21 American Spaniel Club National –Reserve Winners Bitch & 1st Place BBE

Tootsie—7/20 American Spaniel Club National 3rd in Futurity Black Bitches 9 Month and Over Class. Handled by Linda Pitts.

Houston (Parti)—7/20 American Spaniel Club National 3rd in Futurity Parti Dogs 9 Month and Over Class. Houston is Co-Owned/Co-Bred with Regina Beinhauer. Handled by Linda Pitts.

Sassy—7/20 American Spaniel Club National 3rd in Futurity Parti Pitches 9 Month and Over Class.  Handled by Stephanie.

Tootsie—7/11 –Winner’s Bitch out practicing for ASC! Handled by Linda Pitts.

Houston (Parti)—7/01 NEW CHAMPION! Finished under Judge Jane Forsyth, Handled by Mike Pitts.

Zero & Cooler (Parti’s) —7/01 Went to their new forever home in Massachusetts with Susie and Peter  Denehy. Look for Cooler later in the Agility Ring!

June—Houston was the only one out showing and racked up most of his points this month.
